  1. Chumlee is very rich, but he acts like he doesn't have any money. He is always acting like he needs a raise from the pawn shop. The richer they get, the more they ham it up.

  2. I can 't believe that they always let the jerk win at things. It's not good to let kids believe that they can talk back to and insult your boss without getting fired!!!!

    1. Who knows what is real or not on the show. BIG HOSS forgot to tell about his LAP-BAND SURGERY..As for Chumlee does he work for the Pawn Shop or just a stand in I have read he make 25,000 a show. If this is true or not I don't know, but if he is making that kind of money I'm sure he does not work at the store. He also has had Lap-Band surgery. Thats how he lose all the weight..Not by taking a pill so he says.and gets paid for.No one would put up with the way he talks to Rick and break all the profits.Thats just for show and rating folks. Wake up. I find him from funny I think more of stupid. His teeth now look like he takes them out and puts them on the bedstand at night. I went there and a girl behind the counter said they never show up until filming starts. They are never in the store. Cory talks about having a collection of motorcycles. when the common person is lucky to own 1..So they were rich before the show. More power to them to pull the sheet over people eyes and make a killing. I for one will never watch another show because it has gotten so out of hand. The only real person on the show is the Old Man Mr Harrison in which he should be called. Unless he prefers Old Man.. Ever notice how Cory might as well have the book in his lap reading from it to tell you about an item. They all know about everything that comes in the store.. Take care and thanks

    2. Ricky Shenk ,we know if what you say is true or not because unlike you we actually watch the show. They own a pawnshop, does anybody know of a poor pawnshop owner?Maybe they have a lot of customers because people like to be on TV?...why did you go there?

  3. Right on with "Chumlee" being a jerk & talking back to Rick. Anyone with any brains would know that if that conduct wasn't "staged", he would have been looking for another job.

I've had it with that program. It was actually educational until "stupid" started his act.

  4. Getting sick of rick's feigned angry at Chumlee. Really worn itself out. I like the show but it is starting to get really old.

  5. The show is entertaining, even if some or most of it is staged! I agree that no employer would tolerate Chumlee's behavior and his antics are a poor example for children. However, the program targets adults; there are much better choices for kids. I enjoy learning the history of the items people bring into the store. If Corey's presentation lacks polish, the information seems solid; he'll improve with practice!

  9. I still get a kick out of watching Pawn Stars. However, there is one thing that perplexes me. Corey has the manners of a yard ape. When dealing with customers, he'll make a deal then shake their hand, never looking them in the eye and while he's already started to walk away. It's ignorant and unbecoming.

    2. Agreed. Another thing I noticed... why does he always swing his arm to the right when he shakes hands. He doesn't just reach out his hand, looks very odd.

  10. The show has become boring to me. Seems it's the same thing over and over again. There is nothing spontaneous anymore but rather all scenes are staged.

  12. I like the show and the crew, and even though it is staged it can get pretty funny, and the best part about it is learning about all the different things that come into the pawn shop that's what keeps me watching the show, and as for their money well it's really none of anybody's business, but you know what, good for them.! I'll just bet in real life that they are close family and care a lot for each other.

  13. I enjoy Pawn Stars, even if it is staged. I have learned a lot of interesting history from this program.
I think the Pawn Stars stars have gotten a bit full of themselves, but the show is a kick and the bantering between Rick, Corey, Chumlee and the Old Man is genuinely funny.

  14. Pawn Stars is awesome I actually got to meet Chumlee and talk with him briefly. He is a cool dude and had no problem taking pictures with all his fans. And to you that don't know. Pawn Stars is not taped at the store it is a set done up exactly like the store. It has never been shot at the store
