Marcus Lemonis Bio

Lemonis was not born in the US, but actually in Lebanon. Beirut was, at the time, in serious danger from ongoing civil wars. Luckily, a Greek family living in Miami, Florida adopted Lemonis (giving him his name) while he was still a baby. Cars were a passion for those in his family. Due to that, Lemonis also became interested in cars. Early in his life, Marcus learned to roll with the punches. After graduating with a degree in Political Science, he ran for office in Florida but lost. Instead of letting that loss bring him down, he simply changed his career.

A Camping and RV Fortune

But how did Lemonis make his $100 million? Believe it or not, it has not been from his TV show on CNBC The Profit.

Rather, his fortune making is how he got his own TV show. By traveling and buying up smaller RV dealerships around the country, Lemonis has created Camping World and Good Sam Enterprises. He has turned small businesses into very large RV dealerships and superstores. Often, Lemonis has been called unorthodox. But even so, he currently owns RV businesses in over 100 locations. His businesses provide jobs to around 6,000 employees.

Other Businesses

Lemonis has also had his hand in other small businesses. He saved a small business in 2012 called Rose’s Bakery & Wheat Free Café with a single investment. Since then, the business has thrived and is still growing. Another enterprise Lemonis developed in 2012 was called Juice ONE. This is to be a cold-pressed juice bar which will offer only healthy drinks to clients. Lemonis believes in these causes because of his own choice to make himself a healthier person. Earlier this year, Lemonis was also given his own TV show on CNBC. In The Profit, Lemonis invests in and tries to save struggling small businesses.

Marcus Lemonis's now famous business saying "People, Process, Product" has served all his businesses extremely well by putting people first, then the process, and finally the product to come up with his winning successful formula.
